My grandfather’s guide to life. (longer blurb)

My grandfather used to be old. Very very old. But he’s younger now and has more time to talk. So I started listening to all the things he has to say. He said growing old is a young man’s game and it’s time you starting playing.

But what do a bunch of 20 year olds making the show know about age? Or life? Or anything? How do they get in touch with the older generation?

We are going to look at changing some of these making them more acceptable for the event and adding more songs to the mix probably tomorrow. I thought about adding to the mix Kiss the girl, Let it go, A whole new world, I see the light, I wont say I'm in love and That’s how you know? as these are quite stereotypical and well known.

Twitter/Hashtag ideas

I have yet to think of a hash tag for the whole night for the event but will get thinking about that. I thought these ideas would go well with the tweet games and hash tagging ideas.

·       We could take a picture of us as a group doing something before the show and ask the audience to caption it and the best caption can win something such as the star idea or a story or something? This could be really funny to see what people come up with? #LoveCaptions #CaptureTheLove

·       Selfie game-The most ‘romantic’ or even just best selfie from the night or best selfie with the most characters from the  night wins a star or whatever we have lined up #SelfLove

·       Cheesiest/funniest chat up line tweeted could win something

·       Blind dating idea-Make a hash tag for the ‘singles’ which they can tweets with then could pair them together if we get any matches-Could use the emoji balloons for this from Anna’s idea.

For the Disney song group maybe Charlotte is obsessed with falling in love and believing in love at first sight and someone else is completely the opposite.

To anyone who knows me I adore the Lion King, I think it stems from going to Kenya and seeing all the animals when I was little, but I always say and wear a bracelet that says "Hakuna Matata" - It means no worries for the rest of your days. It was something that all my family said to me to make me feel better - plus I was constantly singing it! What's your favourite Disney and why? What has disney taught you?
