Notes for tomorrow

Well done all, good first show i hope you enjoyed it and feeling proud of your work.

I would like to propose for tomorrow that we make the transitions between scenes much more sleek and overlapping.  maybe consider having all props ready on stage and minimum exits behind those awkward curtains.

Other small changes i think need to include lifting as much of the floor work as possible. Much bigger audience expected tomorrow so the floor will be even less visible.

Lots of flyering to do before the show; 500 flyers in our props box if you want to get a head start and fill the seats!

Charlotte and Victor please learn new script so we can work a little more on that scene.

It is my birthday today. It really is.
We were quite young back when we started making this show. But we are a little older now.
And more handsome.
Thank you for giving us your advice.  We have been getting lots of advice, but we could always do with some more.
We have met a lot of people. Older people, younger people, and some that we already knew but listened to better. I spoke to my granddad. He is 80. I said granddad, what advice would you give me for turning 20? He said, ‘ I don’t know.

We looked at comedy too. We found thousands of jokes about growing older. D
We wanted to understand ageing. And laugh in its face. But the jokes made growing old seem sad. Funny, but sad. Everyone is joking about growing old. Even the old.   Especially the old.
