Photos of Beowulf Makeup, Props, Classwork

Hey, sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but I have been taking photos nearly everyday to keep track of what we have been doing.

Makeup:

These images below show how the makeup brings out the colour of your eyes - creates an intense look and would be great when telling our stories in the tents.

In the photo below I have been made old-looking very quickly using black body paint, applied by a detailed brush (For when we get older during "This is Jordan")

The image below shows how Jess painted my leg to create a fire effect - love the gold!

What I love about each others makeup is that everyones is slightly different from one another, which makes us all unique.

I really love the way the black and gold brings out Cody's eyes and the extension braids adds to her character.

This last week:

These three images below show Cody and Victors scene where Grendel's mum dies

This week we checked out the the props for our show and they all look AMAZING! The dragon is breathtaking and I can't wait to do shadow play in the book tent.

Later this week some of the costumes came, so whoever was a main character tried on their clothes to see how it would fit and feel while working out how to play their character. As I always generally feel that when you have your makeup done and your costume on you feel that you can fully see how your character is going to be interoperated, accents, posture, manner, etc.

Montage of what happened this week: Dan & Shivvy in the dragon working out how to use it - they were thinking about using drums inside to represent a heart beat which I feel would work really effectively.
