Scriptwriting in progres...

Hey guys,

Been writing for the king and Queen Scene and have a few passages I would like you to read over and give me some feedback. I have been reading the book by Michael Morpurgo and have taken some of the line and alliteration from that and created some text. Let me know what you think and if it will work. I know from the feedback from the other day that we need to make the script more menacing so I have tried to make some more serious diolouge.

Let me know what you think.

Dearest Citizens of Hrothgar,

We have gathered you here today with heavy hearts, to bear upon you news of our ongoing plight. For 12 long winters, the bastardly brute Grendal has plagued our land, our dear Heroet, picking his blood victims at random. Our kinsman slaughtered, the walls of our great Herot splattered in their blood, our feet tread their remains into our sodden floor.

No plan we have devised has deminished him, no sarcrafice has saved us. We are drained of hope, starved of happiness, robbed of our blessed harmony. we have lost many of our number. Stalking by night he takes his prey, feasting festivly on their flesh, knawing at their weakened and weathered bones. This terryfying tyrant has depleated our resources, our faith, our freedom.

Herot's great walls once filled with rejoice, and celebration are now broken and bruised at the hands of this evil brute. enraged by our content companionship he has shattered our lives for long enough. In our determination to deminish this demon, we now have bbut little choice. We must call upon our brothers over seas. The great Geats know many warriors non more fearsome than the honorable Geat prince Beowulf. We shall call upon our allies and finally rise victorious from the blood of our beloved victims.

This is just something i jotted down and obviously I have not worked in any of the gags or anything. Im wondering if we even need them? Let me know what you think? I really like the idea of keeping the king and queen serious.

will write up some more on here later!!
