"Fringe Idea"

Hello all.

Here is one of many Ideas swimming around my had for fringe.
(again imply n idea)

-A Hundred Thousand Pennies, No More-

My idea is based around a concept album written by Mike Skrinner, Front man for the group known as The Streets. The album is named A Grand Don't Come For Free.

^here's a link to the album. (i also own the album, so if you want a copy let me know
Track List
1. It Was Supposed to Be So Easy
2. Could Well Be In
3. Not Addicted
4. Blinded By The Lights
5. Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way
6. Get Out Of My House
7. Fit But You Know It
8. Such A Twat
9. What Is He Thinking?
10. Dry Your Eyes
11. Empty Cans

How I Envision the show is a frantic assembly style piece. very much ensemble work and very physical. it would also be a verbatim piece (not in the doumentry style) mimicking spoken word.

For those who are not familiar with Frantic assembly's work here is a link;

and here is an introduction to verbatim theatre.

Any and all feedback and opinions are welcome with open arms.

  1. sounds very interesting jack. i'm only on the first track right now, so it may become apparent but what is the verbatim part about? and who do we interview?
